 Vision for the Flag and Dance Ministry!The thought of God using me in the ministry of flag and dance scares me and excites me all at the same time! I am a willing vessel through God that wants to follow the plans that He has for me in my life. I want this ministry to be a team of willing vessels that God works through. God gave me the anointing of flagging and dancing and I want to share it with my team and the church. We always want to dance and flag for His Honor and Glory. The Lord has taken me into a deeper revelation of the prophetic power of color and symbolism with the flags. I’m still learning, there is so much to learn, but that’s the great thing about God he’s always right there to help us to keep learning! As God reveals things to me I want to share that with my team and the church. I believe God is always trying to show us things, if only we open our eyes and look for the signs! The more we let God lead us and show us things then the higher and deeper he can take us. I want my team and I to lead people to a level of praise that they’ve never known before - The kind of praise that brings deliverance and brings you to a closer place with God. Flagging and Dancing are a form of praise, warfare, and prophesy. God speaks through the dance and flags. I believe they can be interpreted just as much as speaking in tongues, and there are two forms of prophesy – one you hear and one you see. His banner over me is love. What is the Flag and Dance Ministry? The Flag and Dance Ministry is seen by some as foolishness. Some people have said it’s an irreverent display of emotionalism. "But God has chosen the foolish things to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong." (1st Corinthians 1:27). The Flag and Dance Team are warriors, and worshipers, and intercessors with the flags. I can tell you that something incredible happens in the spirit when we purposefully and prayerfully raise our flags as a standard against the enemy, as a standard of praise. We become "as awesome as an army with banners." (Song of Solomon 6:4,10) Eph.6:12-For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. The devil belongs under our feet- what better way to keep him there than by dancing on his head!
